The Strikeback 800 is a self-management GSM and GPS location system compatible with Strikeback motorhome alarm systems and conventional car alarms. The system sends co-ordinates (Lat & Long, Digital or NMEA) via the GSM network to your mobile phone(s) or land line phone along with an explanation of the alarm trigger. The longitudinal/latitudinal co-ordinates can then be input into the Meta-SAT website which show the location of your motorhome on street level maps. The 800 also has an emergency “AID REQUEST “ feature, yet
all you pay for is the cost of the Text message! Literally Pennies.

The STRIKEBACK 800 is programmed to warn about certain conditions such as low battery voltage or if a battery is disconnected for example. Using your mobile phone, the owner can obtain the status of the security system, the motorhomes’ speed or location and effect remote immobilisation. The motorhome can also be ‘blocked’ remotely by a simple text message meaning it cannot be driven if the van keys are stolen. The 800 is programmed to send you a STATUS REPORT every 30 days (average SMS text cost 12p) so your only real financial commitment is £1.44 per year! You can, of course, send a SMS text to the 800 and request a STATUS REPORT which will tell you everything you need to know as and when required. The “AID REQUEST” can be sent by simply pressing the dash mounted panic button. This will send a separate aid request call, giving time & location details to a predetermined telephone number (EG Son, Daughter or close friend)

The level of self-management, lack of contractual fees and versatility of the system make it an excellent choice for anyone considering a Tracking system for their motorhome. What other system allows you as much control as the STRIKEBACK 800? Look at the following
Key Features

• No annual or monthly costs
• Operates automatically and independently – driver is in control.
• Thatcham Q Class Approval.
• System Battery Back-up in case of motorhome battery disconnection.
• Low Battery SMS Text warning - “Lets you know before there’s a problem”. That does seem to make sense, doesn’t it?
• Motorhome version - share power between engine and leisure batteries automatically. Unlike competitor “car only” products that can flatten engine batteries. Battery Master™ will also help with battery issues caused by alarms, clocks, radios & immobilisers already installed on your motorhome.
• Remote engine immobilisation via text message ~ Worried about Key theft when away? (Key theft is a huge problem now that vehicle security is so good. It’s easier to steal the keys, then the vehicle!). A simple SMS text message “shuts down the engine” until you are ready.
• Periodic status report
• AID REQUEST FUNCTION. Help a the touch of a button

Remote engine immobilisation available from your mobile phone, what could be better?

The system sends you status reports of vehicle and battery condition.

It can text you latitude & longitude co-ordinates, GSM & GPS signal strengths and status reports of the system at regular intervals.

It also allows you to select between SMS and VOICE notification to numerous different telephones. So, should you receive a STRIKEBACK ALERT SMS text message informing you that someone is attempting to break into the van, you could immediately text back a reply to the system and deactivate the engine so, even if there had been a break in at your home and the thief had stolen your motorhome keys, the engine could be shut down, thwarting the thief.

There are a number of other features available, so if you feel you have a particular requirement to do with remote vehicle system access and control, please contact us for further information. This paging/tracking system is Thatcham listed (evaluation no. EVQ1090) and will satisfy insurance companies when they require a tracking device as a condition of insurance. The system has a dash mounted “panic button that when pressed will send a dedicated “AID REQUEST” message with details of your exact whereabouts to a relative or close friend to help you or raise the alarm as necessary

Q: What happens when my alarm goes off?
A: The 800 unit will wait a programmed amount of time (usually a few seconds) and it will send you a SMS text message stating that the alarm has been triggered, or it will phone a landline telephone if desired.
Q: Can it be fitted to my existing car alarm, and will I get all the same facilities?
A: Yes.
Q: Because I have a car alarm fitted onto my motorhome, I am experiencing flat batteries. Will the Battery Master help with this problem as well as sharing the load for the STRIKEBACK 800?
A: Yes it will, and don’t forget the independent retail version of the Battery Master is available from many dealers for only £69.95 (self install).
Q: How will I know what the system is telling me?
A: If you can read, then you can use the STRIKEBACK 800. The messages are delivered, via SMS to your mobile telephone. If you have a low battery, it will tell you that there is a low battery. If the alarm has been triggered, it will tell you the alarm has been triggered.
Q: How will I know that the TEXT is from my motorhome?
A: We suggest that you store the motorhome number in your phone book, and the TEXT will send you your registration number so there can never be any doubt.
