We have selected the Alden 85cm for the roof of our own Winnebago. I was tempted with the Kathrein system, but we felt that the Kathrein could be harder to use for julie andand the girls. I liked the idea that I could scan other satellites easily and not have to have a BskyB Digi box, but the Kathrein system is a little harder to use at first. The Alden Orbiter 85cm is a fantastic solution. At £1299 plus installation it comes with the Alden decoder. This allows me to watch for free! whatever is unencrypted coming down from whatever satellite the Orbiter has been pointed at! I have added a BskyB Digi box and paid Sky a one off payment of £20 and I have the best of both worlds, having Freeview from Sky, at a press of a button, but also the ability to hundreds of channels, free of charge on dozens of satellites.
